someone in Mobile software should fix the problem on the create your account page, because it is impossible to create an account, for the price of the app i expect the problem to be corrected fast.

Best Golf app

My friends spend hundreds of dollars for their golf gps and courses. I Have been using Freecaddie for years (started with my windows based PDA) and it is as accurate, more reliable and faster than what they use. Plus I can correct any errors I find. More than I need and it does it well. Keep up the good work.

whatever

I’m not an expert, but this app is not user friendly for my iPad. Trying to access different functions is dificult to impossible. Swiping sometimes doesn’t work. Distances to holes need more than one try as 1st or 2nd is obviously wrong. Should be simpler to operate

No gps tracking

I want my money back. The free version works so much better. Disappointed. Will change review once the app actually works.

Freecaddie pro

The best golf gps app Ive tried. Not too much extraneous junk except for occasional ad (irritating while playing). Works well with Pebble watch except for occasional freeze. But not with Apple Watch. Has easy scoring when you want to. Others require scoring before it advances to next hole. Freecaddie advances automatically. And scores can be easily uploaded to the website. Of course if you get the president version, its no longer free. But worth it b

Always using locations for 3rd party use.

Ive used Freecaddie for many years and have liked recent updates except for them using your location ALL the time. This is typically used for selling to 3rd parties for sending promotions. Its really disappointing. I will not be using this app any longer.

Best $10 bucks I ever spent!

The most important thing for a rangefinder is accuracy and this program is normally dead on! I said normally because all the courses are mapped by the customers on the freecaddie website. So depending on who did the mapping it could be off a bit. So before you download a course check it for accuracy or just do it yourself. You will not be disappointed!

Superb performance!

Accurate, easy to use. You can even program and re-program any course. I tweaked two holes on my home course to allow for slope (big uphill approaches), and the next round I hit it hole high and just past the pin on holes where I am normally short!

Love this app.

Just recently updated to version 2.3 on my iPhone and the added functionality from the previous version just adds to the excellence of this app. I am an avg. weekend duffer that can use anything to possibly improve my game. This app has those tools. Statics is the key to improvement and this app has that logging capabilities. Now that aerial images have been added this app just jumps to the top of the list for GPS Golf apps. You cannot even blink an eye at the price. For free you get front, mid and back of the green, but for a messily $20 you can have the functionality of all the tools offered with this app. I truly recommend trying the free version and you will soon purchase the PRO. There are thousands of courses in FREECADDIEs database, but you will have to take them with a grain of salt since they are created by the users. If your course is not one of the thousands already in the database you can create your own. If you know the course well it will only take 10 or so minutes to create one. Job well done.

dont waste your money

A rather bushleague app. Not impressed at all with the quality of the app, the graphics, or the accuracy of the GPS. I had a mate with me with a range-finder, and were watching the course sprinkler heads, and this app came no where close to the others. Wish I could have my money back.

Free caddy pro

I bought free caddy pro to use on my golf course and give yardage. Well, it was a joke! My course was there. . . But the yardages werent within 50per cent of being accurate. My partners joked about and "can you just throw it away?" I guess I will because it is certainly of no value. WHM

Get to know it and love it

I am reading the bad reviews for this app and it makes me laugh. The course is designed by the user, so those who have bad distances have not looked at the markings previously. Like one gentleman said, if it is off mark the course how you like it. I have been using this app for some time now and it has helped me improve my game a lot. I really like the aerial maps provided as well. The app fits my needs perfectly for the price I paid for it!

Decent

It is not the best app on the market but then again it is $5. For the price it does all that is intended and more. For those "scratch" golfers complaining about the quality learn how to visualize your distance and stop critiquing an app you shouldnt need to use.

Great app

Not the best graphics, but knowing distances has helped my game. I was a 19 handicap when I started using it. Now my handicap is a 10. For the price you cant beat it. My buddy paid $299 for a sky caddy and my yardage is better than his. A must have app!!!!

SCGA Membership and Handicap Chair

I have a Sky Caddie and a Golf Buddy. The Free Caddie Pro is better by far than either of these and much much less expensive.

Easy to use

This app is so user-friendly I cant imagine any other app ever being needed for playing the game of golf

Not bad

It would be a big improvement if you could adjust the map to show yards to hazards

Great start!!!

So far this app works well. I noticed it froze a couple of times when my network signal got low. Fix that and its almost flawless. Would like to see the option to score from pebble watch. Get this if you play and dont want to spend way more on a golf gps watch. With pebble and this, you cant go wrong.

Clumsy

Wheres the end round button? How to you adjust settings? Dont pay for this app.

FreeCaddie Pro: Decent App

I was using the FREE version (FreeCaddie) then I bought the Pro version for the extras, and the yardages are dead on for my home course. I shot yardages with a friends $300 Leupold Laser Rangefinder, and the yardages were only off a few feet due to the APP restriction of front, mid, back. It can never be dead on like a laser rangefinder, but its great for an 18 handicap player like me that really isnt that accurate to begin with. If you know how far you hit your irons, this is perfect. Well worth the 6 Bucks! NO BRAINER. The scores can be uploaded with your stats if you choose to keep them during your round, and can be examined in detail on the FreeCaddie website. !!! NEEDS A WAY TO END ROUND AFTER 9 !!!
